July 9, 2021 – St. John’s, NL: Eastern Health informs the public that the main entrance of the Health Sciences Centre will be temporarily closed on Monday, July 12, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until approximately 10:00 p.m. This closure is necessary to accommodate the lifting and installation of new mechanical equipment on the roof near the HSC’s main entrance.
During this time, all visitors, patients, and staff must use the Emergency Department entrance to enter and exit the building.
Traffic control personnel will be onsite to aid with vehicle and pedestrian traffic flow. Safeguards will be in place; however, the public is advised to proceed with caution and to follow posted signage in the area.
Eastern Health would like to thank the public and employees for their cooperation and apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
