Eastern Health Offering Mobile COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic on Bell Island

October 6, 2021 – St. John’s, NL: Eastern Health advises that it will be offering a mobile COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic for residents of Bell Island on Thursday and Friday, October 7 and 8, 2021. The clinic will be offering first and second doses to eligible residents and may also respond to calls as required at individuals’ homes.

Thursday’s route stops are indicated below. The van will begin the route at 11:00 a.m. and anyone wanting a dose can flag it down. Masks will be required while individuals are in the van. This schedule is flexible and subject to change.

  • Beginning at Beach Hill which turns into Main Street
  • East End Road
  • Quigleys Line
  • Gull Island Road
  • Normore Crescent (mobile clinic will stay at this location for 30 minutes)
  • Gull Island Road
  • Quigleys Line
  • Clover Farm Grocery Store (mobile clinic will stay at this location for 15 minutes)
  • Quigleys Line
  • Compressor Hill
  • Knights of Columbus Drive
  • Farm Road
  • Backview Street
  • Service Store (mobile clinic will stay at this location for 15 minutes)
  • Trembletts Road
  • Ten Commandments Road
  • Augustine’s Elementary School (mobile clinic will stay at this location for 60 minutes)
  • Bennetts Road returning to Main Street
  • Dick’s Fish and Chips on Beach Road (mobile clinic will stay at this location from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.)

Friday’s route and stops are indicated below. The van will begin at 11:30 a.m. and anyone wanting a dose can flag down the van. Masks will be required while individuals are in the van. This schedule is flexible and subject to change.

  • Lance Cove Beach (mobile clinic will stay at this location for 30 minutes)
  • Brothers Lane Road

Walk-in clinics continue to be available for first and second doses for individuals 12 years and older.
