October 22, 2021 – St. John’s, NL: Eastern Health advises the public that construction will take place near the entrance of the Janeway Children’s Health and Rehabilitation Centre on Monday, October 25, 2021, beginning at about 6:30 a.m. and continuing until approximately 4:00 p.m. During this time, a crane will be on site to facilitate the removal and replacement of a ventilation unit from the roof of the Health Sciences Centre.
The main entrance to the Janeway Children’s Health and Rehabilitation Centre will remain open during this time and access to the facility will not be affected. Flag persons will be onsite to assist with traffic flow. Normal safeguards will be in place; however, patients, visitors and employees are advised to proceed with caution in the area.
