October 26, 2021 – St. John’s, NL: Eastern Health advises that, effective today, the Village Mall COVID-19 vaccine clinic will be by appointment only and will no longer be accepting walk-ins. Clinics throughout the region continue to offer first and second doses of vaccine to individuals 12 years and older. Individuals may book appointments throughout the Eastern Health region by visiting www.gov.nl.ca/covid-19/vaccine/gettheshot/ or by calling 1-833-951-3904 (toll-free). Eastern Health will continue to monitor this situation.
The public is reminded that they should not schedule an appointment for a vaccine if they are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19. Instead, they are directed to complete a COVID-19 Assessment which can be found by clicking here. Masks continue to be mandatory at all Eastern Health facilities, sites, and clinics. The provided mask must be worn throughout the duration of individual’s time in vaccine clinics. In keeping with public health guidance to reduce the number of contacts wherever possible, patients are asked to carefully consider the necessity of an attendee when visiting these areas.
