Eastern Health Offering Mobile COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic on Bell Island

November 9, 2021 – St. John’s, NL: Eastern Health advises that it will be offering a mobile COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic for residents of Bell Island on Wednesday, November 10, 2021. The clinic will be offering first, second and booster doses of the COVID-19 vaccine as well as the flu vaccine to eligible residents and may also respond to calls as required at individuals’ homes if time permits. 

The route stops are indicated below. The van will begin the route at 9:30 a.m. and anyone wanting a COVID-19 vaccine can flag it down. This schedule is flexible and subject to change. 

  • Arrive onBell Island by 9:30m. and stay near ferry terminal for approximately 30 to 45 minutes. 
  • Boys and Girls Club parking lot from 10:30 m.to 11:30 a.m. 
  • Drive through Wabanaand stop at the Service Store from 1:00 m. to 2:00 p.m. 
  • Drive through Wabanaand stop at Ridgeway Variety from 3:30 m. to 4:30 p.m. 
  • Return to ferry terminalfor 5:30 m. 

Masks will be required while individuals are in the van. Residents in these areas who have questions about the mobile clinic and vaccinations, may call (709) 693-7720.

Clinics continue to be available for first and second doses for individuals 12 years and older. The public is reminded that they should not schedule an appointment for a vaccine if they are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19. Instead, complete a COVID-19 Assessment by clicking here.
