Update on COVID-19 Vaccine and Booster Appointments

January 11, 2022 – St. John’s, NL: Eastern Health advises that there is an increased availability of COVID-19 vaccine and booster appointments from today to January 14, 2022, in St. John’s and Mount Pearl, NL.

Individuals must meet the 22-week requirement between the second dose and the booster dose. Additional information is included below:

  • Former Public Service Commission Building (50 Mundy Pond Road): Appointments are available to those 29 years of age and under.
  • The Village Mall (Blue, Green, Red, and Yellow in the online booking system): Appointments are available for first and second doses for those 12 to 17 years of age in addition to boosters for those 18 years of age and older.
  • Reid Community Centre (A, B, C in the online booking system): Appointments are available to those 30 years of age and older.

Please note that if seniors, 60 years of age and older, are unable to book an appointment online via the “SENIOR (60+ First/Second and Booster) COVID-19 Immunization Appointment” online portal, they are encouraged to check for additional availability at clinics for those 30 years of age and older.

Appointments can be booked online at www.gov.nl.ca/covid-19/vaccine/gettheshot/ or by calling 1-833-951-3884 (toll free). We continue to add more appointments regularly and encourage individuals to continue to check availability, as needed.

The public is reminded that they should not attend an appointment for a vaccine if they are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19. Instead, they should complete a COVID-19 Assessment by clicking here.

We understand that the pandemic has brought many changes and we would like to thank the public for their patience and kindness. Let’s work together to make civility and respect part of every interaction at clinics, hospitals and health-care facilities across the region.
