COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics for Children Moving from Mundy Pond to Village Mall

February 16, 2022 – St. John’s, NL:  Eastern Health would like to advise the public that the COVID-19 vaccination clinics (first and second dose) at 50 Mundy Pond Road (formerly Public Service Commission Building) in St. John’s will move to the Village Mall as of Saturday, February 19, 2022. The clinic will accept walk-ins as well as appointments.

Individuals who booked an appointment at this clinic for children between 5 to 11 years of age for Saturday, February 19, 2022 and later, will be contacted directly to advise that their appointment has been moved to the Village Mall for the same date and time.

Individuals may book an appointment at any vaccination clinic across the region by visiting www.gov.nl.ca/covid-19/vaccine/gettheshot/ or by calling 1-833-951-3884 (toll free). When booking an online appointment for a child ages 5 to 11, please select PEDIATRIC (5-11) COVID-19 Immunization Appointment before proceeding to book an appointment. We are adding more appointments regularly and encourage individuals to continue to check availability, as needed.

For information on reducing vaccination fear and pain for children and youth, please visit Eastern Health’s Health Information webpage at

The public is reminded that they should not attend an appointment for a vaccine if they are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19. Instead, they should complete a COVID-19 Assessment at https://covidassessment.nlchi.nl.ca/.

We continue to thank the public for their patience and kindness. Let’s work together to make civility and respect part of every interaction at clinics, hospitals and health-care facilities across the region.
