April 8, 2022 – St. John’s, NL: Eastern Health advises the public that there will be a scheduled power system upgrade at the Janeway Children’s Health and Rehabilitation Centre, including the Women’s Health Clinic and the underground parking garage. The upgrade is scheduled to begin at 6:00 a.m. this Saturday, April 9, 2022, and last for approximately 16 hours.
During this upgrade, emergency power will continue to be available. Patient care and services will continue with minimal disruption. Patients and visitors may notice reduced lighting throughout the facility. The remainder of the Health Sciences Complex, including the Nuclear and Molecular Medicine Facility, the Health Sciences Centre (General Hospital), and the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre, will not be impacted.
