June 1, 2022 – St. John’s, NL: Eastern Health advises the public that health-care services at the Heart’s Delight District Office in Heart’s Delight, NL, will be unavailable tomorrow (Thursday, June 2, 2022) due to water main repairs by the Town of Heart’s Delight-Islington. As the work will require the water supply to be shut off, the building will be closed and walk-in services will not be available at this time.
All appointments for Eastern Health services at the building are cancelled for the day and patients will be contacted directly to have their appointments rescheduled, or to arrange for a home visit.
Individuals can call the NL HealthLine at 811 to speak to a registered nurse 24 hours a day, seven days a week about a health issue or concern.
Eastern Health apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
