October 11, 2022 – St. John’s, NL: Eastern Health advises the public that it is expanding the hours of its community walk-in clinic at 50 Mundy Pond Rd, St. John’s, starting on Wednesday, October 12, 2022. The clinic is open to individuals in the metro area who do not have a family health-care provider.
The clinic will be open Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. 8:00 p.m., and Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with the possibility of expanded hours based on community need. The clinic is walk-in only at this time with a limited number of appointments that will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Individuals who are not seriously ill are encouraged to use this service rather than go to hospital emergency departments. In case of an emergency, individuals should proceed to the nearest emergency department or call 911 for an ambulance.
The public is reminded that they should not attend the clinic if they are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19. Instead, they should complete a COVID-19 Assessment by clicking here. Those who visit the clinic will be screened for COVID-19 upon entry. All patients are required to wear a face mask as per public health recommendations.
