January 24, 2022 – St. John’s, NL: Eastern Health advises private blood collection services that routine laboratory testing will be accepted beginning Tuesday, January 25, 2022. Private collectors are ask to drop off all specimens before 1:00 p.m. on January 25. Specimens will be accepted during regular hours beginning on Wednesday, January 26.

To limit the spread of COVID-19 and to keep our patients, clients, residents and health-care workers safe, those who enter health-care facilities are reminded to follow Eastern Health’s COVID-19 safety protocols, including screening, masking, and physical distancing.
