Eastern Health Provides Update on Booking COVID-19 Vaccine Appointments Across the Region

October 1, 2021 – St. John’s, NL: Eastern Health advises that the demand for appointments at COVID-19 clinics has decreased because of high uptake for first and second doses of the COVID-19 vaccine across the region. As a result, starting today, October 1, 2021, residents are advised to call ahead to make appointments for the locations listed below as regular clinics at these locations are no longer being offered. 

Individuals seeking a COVID-19 vaccine in one of the following communities are advised to call the phone numbers listed below to schedule an appointment.

Eastern Health continues to offer walk-in clinics at some locations. For more information, please visit: easternhealth.ca/covid19/vaccine/walk-in-clinics/. Individuals are advised to check the website prior to proceeding to their walk-in clinic of choice. Walk-in clinics continue to be available for first and second doses for individuals 12 years and older.

Individuals may also continue to book appointments at several other locations throughout the Eastern Health region by visiting www.gov.nl.ca/covid-19/vaccine/gettheshot/. The public is reminded that they should not schedule an appointment for a vaccine if they are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19. Instead, complete a COVID-19 Assessment by clicking here.
