October 11, 2021 – St. John’s, NL: Eastern Health advises the public that phone services have now been restored at Carbonear General Hospital and the Harbour Grace Community Site (Taylor Building).
Inbound and outbound phone lines were impacted by a service interruption on October 6, which has now been repaired by the service provider.
Some inpatient rooms continue to be affected, however, the public may call the main switchboard at (709) 945-5500.
Eastern Health thanks the public for their cooperation during this time and apologizes for any inconvenience this may have caused.
