August 20, 2021 – St. John’s, NL: Eastern Health advises the public that due to construction of the new adult mental health and addictions facility, portions of the public parking lot near the main entrance of the Health Sciences Centre will be under construction beginning on Saturday, August 20, 2021. Construction will be ongoing until early September 2021.
Parking will remain open throughout the duration of construction. The associated decrease in parking spaces will be offset by making available over 30 additional public parking spaces in alternate parking lots. Access to the main entrance of the Health Sciences Centre will not be impacted.
Eastern Health also advises of ongoing construction taking place along Clinch Crescent and Mosdell Road and lasting until November 2021. This work is also as a result of the construction of the new adult mental health and addictions facility.
Eastern Health asks the public to follow all signage and traffic controls when visiting the site. Construction partners will endeavour to minimize the impact of noise, dust and disruption. Eastern Health thanks the public for their cooperation and apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
